GMC adds industry-upending functionality throughout its exterior. New for 2020 is the CarbonPro Pickup Box that coats the bed with a layer of specially formulated carbon fibre. The durability and strength properties of this material enable it to resist wear and tear that other coverings can’t. The corrosion resistance will help your truck last longer and its toughness will support cargo that may be too damaging for other beds.

If the new pickup box isn’t enough, then the new Multipro Tailgate may be. It extends to six key positions that allow you to load, unload, and manage your bed materials with ease. Working from a more ergonomic position, you’ll find this innovation to be a comfortable tool.

New Engine Technology on the 2020 GMC Sierra

This model year introduces the new 3.0-litre Duramax turbo-diesel engine. Delivering over 900 lb-ft of torque, it brings exciting new performance and efficiency capabilities. The torque applies 95% at just 1,250 rpm and peaks at 100% between 1,500 and 3,000 RPM. It is paired with a new ten-speed transmission that moves the performance curve even more. This combination is available on the Denali, AT4, SLT, Elevation, and SLE.

If you prefer a gas engine, the Sierra Denali and AT4 include a 5.3-litre eight-cylinder workhorse also paired with the new ten-speed transmission. With the additional gears and gear ratios, expect to experience smoother shifting and accelerated performance.

The interior offers a driving experience designed for comfort, safety, and convenience. You will drive more safely with the enhanced 15” heads-up display. With customizable readouts, important information is easily accessed as your eyes stay focused on the road. When you need the ultimate in rearview mirror clarity, the Rear Camera Mirror opens up the visual area by omitting passengers and cargo that may be in the way. The available ProGrade Trailering System includes 15 camera views to help you keep track of your towed cargo.
