The 2022 GMC Yukon is the latest version of one of the most popular full-size SUVs in Canada and it has a lot to offer to buyers who want a stylish and luxurious vehicle that is also very capable.

The luxury

The 2022 GMC Yukon, especially the Denali trim, is a luxurious SUV that is very comfortable and refined out on the road. The Yukon Denali includes many new technologies such as a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, standard on every model, heated front and second row seats, the heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, the 15-inch head up display, the latest version of the magnetic ride control and a new infotainment system that uses a Google operating system to better connect with other Google devices.

The engine choice

The 2022 GMC Yukon is available with one of three engines, two in the case of the Denali. The standard engine is the durable 5.3L V8 that has been a staple of the Yukon for many years. Next up is the 6.2L V8, a very powerful engine that is known for its refinement and finally is the 3.0L Duramax diesel which provides a copious amount of torque despite its increased fuel efficiency. All of these engines work together with the modern 10-speed automatic transmission that has an appropriate gear for every situation. For 2022, the AT4 trim can receive the 6.2L engine, but the Denali still can’t be powered by the smaller V8.

The capabilities

No matter which engine powers it, the 2022 GMC Yukon is a very capable vehicle that is just as at home on a building site than on a busy major avenue. All versions of the Yukon can be ordered with the 4-wheel drive system in order to improve the foul weather and off-road capabilities. The rear wheel drive version of the Yukon powered by the 5.3L V8 engine is capable of towing up to 8,400 pounds, meaning that you can tow almost everything you want with it.
