For 2024, the Buick range includes no less than four SUVs. So there's sure to be one to suit your needs. In addition to the popular Encore GX, Envision and Enclave, Buick is adding a new small luxury SUV to its catalog this year: the Envista. Let's discover the Buick SUV range and see which one is designed to meet your desires and your budget.

2024 Buick Envista

The Envista is Buick's new kid on the block. It's a subcompact SUV that represents the entry point for the American brand. Priced from $29,830, it's the most affordable SUV in the range.

Mechanically, the Envista is powered by a three-cylinder, 1.2 L turbocharged engine. It develops 137 hp and 162 lb-ft. The engine is mated to a six-speed stepped automatic transmission. No matter which model you choose, only front-wheel drive is available. Agile and maneuverable, it's perfect for urban use.

When it comes to safety, Buick doesn't skimp with this new vehicle. Standard features include automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection braking, lane departure warning for lane keeping assistance, collision avoidance warning, distance-to-vehicle indicator and IntelliBeam automatic high beam control. An 11-inch touchscreen is on board.

2024 Buick Encore GX

The Buick range also includes a second subcompact SUV: the Encore GX. It starts at $32,480.

Its hood houses a three-cylinder, 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that develops 155 hp and 174 lb-ft. The Sport de Tourisme and Avenir versions come standard with four-wheel drive, while the Privilégié version comes standard with front-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission; otherwise, the Encore GX is equipped with a continuously variable transmission.

The Buick Encore is luxuriously equipped as standard. The Comfort Package includes an eight-way power driver's seat, heated driver and front passenger seats, heated steering wheel and remote starter.

Like the Envista, the Encore GX boasts an 11-inch touchscreen. It includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

New Buick Envision

The Buick Envision operates in a highly competitive segment: the compact luxury SUV segment. For 2023, it starts at $41,774. The price scale for 2024 should be known shortly.

The Envision comes with four-wheel drive as standard. It is powered by a 2.0 L, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine. It generates 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Standard equipment on the Envision this year includes a hands-free power tailgate, heated driver and front passenger seats, heated steering wheel, remote start and dual-zone automatic temperature control. In terms of safety, it's no slouch either. Features include automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection braking, StabiliTrak electronic stability control with traction control, hill descent control, LED daytime running lights with separate cavity, lane departure warning with side obstacle detection, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, collision avoidance warning, rear cross-traffic alert and distance to vehicle ahead warning.

The 2024 Buick Envision will likely offer all of these features while also providing new features like the first Super Cruise hands-free driving system offered in a Buick.

2024 Buick Enclave

At the top of the Buick range, the Enclave 2024 is a three-row mid-size luxury SUV. Its price range starts at $56,624. It can accommodate up to seven occupants.

Under the hood is a naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 engine with 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. It can tow a load of up to 5,000 lbs.

Like other Buick models, the Avenir version stands out for its level of luxury. In the case of the Enclave, this version is distinguished by its panoramic sunroof, exclusive grille and 20-inch aluminum wheels.

Whether you're looking for an urban SUV, a luxury SUV or a spacious family SUV, Buick has a vehicle to suit your needs.
